Hey, Kales suggested that I get an extra key to my room and give it to you in case I need to be woke up in an emergency and don't hear any alarms. Do you mind? I just wanted to make sure you were ok with it before I asked the scientists to give it to you.

That's perfectly acceptable, I would be happy to do that for you. Is there any certain way that you wake up the easiest, or anything you think I should know about? Also, I'm close by, should you ever need anything.

Thanks so much. There's really not a *great* way to wake me up that won't make me spaz a little bit- I'll wake up pretty fast though. My hearing aids are usually by my bed, and in an emergency my wheelchair does have what are called "attendant controls", meaning someone else can drive it if they have to.
I can't think of anything else right now. Is there anything else *I* should know?

I should also mention that I usually sleep with earplugs in- helps keep me from getting ear infections, which I'm susceptiable to.

Can we arrange a time so I can come by to look at the controls? I would like to know efficiently what I'm doing before something happens. And I'll keep the ear plugs in mind. As for anything you should know, usually if anything happens there's a few people in house that set up safe conditions, or as safe as they can. If anything happens that you know about, contact someone right away. You can most certainly contact me.

Sure! They're really not that difficult to use, it's like the joystick I use, only it's mounted on the back. Come by anytime though if you want to check it out though.
