Wanted Characters

Wanted Characters!
One of the goals of PH is to reveal the fact that everyone in the house is somehow connected. In some ways, we have already done this. Many of these connections are secret and subtle. However, there are many characters we'd like to see that are not so subtle. This section is dedicated to people in certain characters pasts that we want to see brought in as actual characters. If you wish to adopt one of these concepts and create them as a character, please contact the player listed, or the mods.

Also note that our notices do not apply for these characters. Creating one of these characters gives you a lot more free reign. We will allow duplicate careers, or any traits currently listed in the notices under 'no longer accepting'.

Person's name and character link: Name is open for discussion--character link=Twitch (LINK TO TWITCH'S USERINFO!) family member.

Information: Really open here, he had a huge family. He had lived with his immediate and extended family in rural Russia. They were a very poor family, though a few years ago, Stas left to join the experiment--and they never heard from him again. Every month, however, a check arrives for them, that's supposedly from him.

What this person being put in-house would do to your character: crash and burn. the entire reason he came to the experiment in the first place was to set up his family--if one of them was there with him, he'd probably never want to let them out of his sight ever again. cue farther destruction of his psyche.

Person's name and character link: Name, Eric Lomas, Sally (LINK TO SALLY'S USERINFO!) eldest brother.

Information about who/what they are, both as a person, and to your character: He's 37 years old, married with kids (there's a bit of information on Sally's user info page). He's a bit of a golden child, always did well in school, pretty much universally loved by whoever he comes in contact with - except for his sister who's pleasant to his face but avoids him wherever possible. He sexually abused his sister starting when she was 8 and he was 16 and that went on until he left for university at 18. He's pretty much written the whole thing off as them both just being kids and he doesn't realise that she doesn't see it that way.

What this person being put in-house would do to your character (if you know): She's tried to forget about it, but harbours some pretty deep-seated resentment towards him. Apart from that, I have absolutely no clue what it would do to her!

Person's name and character link: Name and relationship completely open, but in my head it was always Jade's brother, that can change as long as there's a close relationship with Jade there.

Information about who/what they are, both as a person, and to your character: David Peterson (LINK TO DAVE'S USERINFO!) was falsely accused of rape by a patient - Jade Pearson. She, however, was completely and totally convinced that he had, in fact, raped her (she wasn't entirely stable - up to you whether she'd shown any previous signs of instability). She pressed charges, had him arrested and then dropped the charges, claiming that she was afraid of him and couldn't go through with the trial. She instead ruined him by telling everyone she could about what he'd done to her - she as incredibly convinced and convincing. After Dave disappeared (into the experiment) Jade took an overdose - her suicide note claimed it was the aftermath of the rape which caused it. The only thing I want for this character is for them to be absolutely convinced of Dave's guilt.

What this person being put in-house would do to your character (if you know): Dave admitted what had happened to him to the house fairly early on, so the scientists couldn't out him, but really it's only his word on what happened, nobody ever considered that he may be lying. Many people not in the house might not even know unless they read back on the journals.

Person's name and character link: Evelyn, Hannah (LINK TO HANNAH'S USERINFO!)'s estranged aunt.

Information about who/what they are, both as a person, and to your character: Age-negotiable, but likely in her 40s/50s. She's a general practice lawyer with her own practice and sister to Hannah's deceased mother Sarah, unmarried with no kids. She moved in after Hannah's accident and her parents' deaths to help care for Hannah. It was with her help that Hannah sued the hospital after she lost her sight, she was the one that set up Hannah's accounts, hired the help, etc - but the whole time she was also stealing for herself. She's not a terribly nice person, definitely out to look after #1, and Hannah hates her. She kicked her aunt out after discovering she was taking money - Hannah would've given it to her if she'd asked, had offered more than once, but she'd always declined to look more generous.

What this person being put in-house would do to your character (if you know). Hannah hasn't really dealt with what she considers to be hella betrayal. Anything else that she might do now that the gloves are off (so to speak) can either be something that flows from gameplay or something we work out.

Bob (LINK TO BOB'S USERINFO!)'s estranged daughter Holly, age 23. Her mother Carmen came from a large, Roman Catholic, Mexican-American family, and died of cancer when Holly was very young. Her father Bob is, well, you know, Bob--uptight, WASPy, Episcopal priest. Since becoming an adult Holly has gotten back in touch with and is close to her mother's side of the family, and she's rejected her father's religion. (I see her as maybe being Wiccan now, but open to other ideas.) Career, personality, and most details of her life completely open other than a couple of minor backstory things. Reason for her bad relationship with her father could be just about anything except Bob himself deliberately abusing and/or seriously neglecting her.

Holly being brought into the house would put a shitload of additional stress on Bob as he naturally wouldn't want to see her hurt. It would be cool if he could be confronted with whatever issues led to father and daughter being estranged.

Aamir (LINK TO AAMIR'S USERINFO!)'s older, estranged sister Rhokiah, age 27, currently living in London. (Although her name and location are only mentioned once on his info page so both are open for change.) Like Aamir, Rhokiah was raised Shiite Muslim. Her personality, career, most life events, and religious views are totally open for interpretation by the player. She would be aware of Aamir's past (definitely his pedophilia, though not necessarily his paramilitary or terrorist activities) and would not have seen him since he was seventeen.)

Rhokia being brought into the house would cause Aamir all kinds of shame, guilt, and confusion. Honestly it might drive him crazy.

Bob (LINK TO BOB'S USERINFO!)'s ex-wife Denise Wilson. Ambitious, blond, beautiful, bisexual, bitch (at least in Bob's estimation!) I see her as being at least a decade younger than Bob, maybe working in real estate although that's totally up for negotiation. The marriage was troubled from the start and they divorced in under two years. I see her as being sexually adventurous (incriminating videotapes, anyone?) All other details open.

Denise being brought into the house should cause Bob embarrassment at the very least. They should definitely be antagonists. She might even cause him to blow an aneurysm.

Person's name and character link: Rin Inoue (LINK TO RIN'S USERINFO!), her brother Ryou.

Information about who/what they are, both as a person, and to your character: Ryou was the protective big brother who tried to take care of things after their unstable mother died. He's like her in that he's a survivor who keeps going - but he's a good deal more bitter and less content than she is. Ryou tried to find the easy way out and ended up running drugs, and then framed for something much bigger and is currently in jail. He was just trying to take care of his sister and himself, but she ended up coming here to try to bail him out and pay lawyer fees. Ryou is probably very flawed - but to Rin he hung the moon. She idolizes and adores him and depended on him to take care of her. She's very dependent.

What this person being put in-house would do to your character (if you know): Rin would latch on and pretty much just expect Ryou to be able to take care of things, and wouldn't know what to do if he couldn't. And if he was one of the ones in danger, she would freak.

Person's name and character link: Davis Kennedy (LINK TO DAVIS'S USERINFO!), his best friend, Nathan Verlain.

Information about who/what they are, both as a person, and to your character: Nathan is the only person, other than Davis' sister, whom he considers a close friend. They grew up together, and Nathan has always been level-headed and had the sort of sense of humor that could tease Davis out of his moods. He's a sports agent working in New York, and they aren't as close as they once were. Largely because Davis began to be interested in more than just friendship and chose to let them be more distant rather than divulge that - since Davis has issues, but they are still good friends, and is the only one aside from Madison who knew where Davis was really going when he entered the Experiment, even if he didn't know the details. Nathan has never been mentioned in-game, so the details are malleable. :)

What this person being put in-house would do to your character (if you know): Probably give Davis more of a sense of belonging, as well as more respect for what's going on - because if they can just bring real people in from outside, then maybe it isn't just some elaborate hoax when things go bad. Nathan was more outgoing than him as well, so it might help him make friends by proxy.

Person's name and character link: Marius Dorrien, first and only lover of Zania Angelis (LINK TO ZANIA'S USERINFO!)

Information: Marius is 25 years old, Italian, and of non-Romani descent. When he was 19 years old, he began to 'date' Zania Castalia, leading her to believe they were in a serious relationship. He told her he loved her, slept with her, then promptly disappeared from her life. My requirement for this character is only that he knew exactly what he was doing. He never planned to have a real relationship with her, knew he was leading her on, and never planned to see her again after sleeping with her. I've always seen him as a sleazy bastard-type character. It would also not surprise me if he was responsible for her fiance finding out she wasn't a virgin, but that doesn't have to be the case.

What this person being put in-house would do to your character: Zania is vindictive. Extremely. Expect screaming and fighting, and possible violence. Her relationship with Marius ruined her life in no small fashion.

Unnamed guy, only 'boyfriend' Lina (LINK TO LINA'S USERINFO) ever had. They were very casually together for a few years in Lina's early twenties, she never really committed to him. He was into her a lot more than she was into him - knowing that she was going to commit suicide and letting someone care about her that much just made her feel like a liar. She randomly cut all ties with him one day simply because Eddie mentioned he didn't think it was a good match and it made him uncomfortable. It was a great excuse to work with and so she did. This guy showing up for even a few days would make Lina massively uncomfortable. Like, hide under a couch or table if he enters the room and hope he doesn't see her uncomfortable.

The mods would also allow/like to see relatives/friends/links to/of previous characters. This includes dead characters (Eris not included). If said previous character's player is still in-game, it will need their permission.

Players may comment on this post at any time to add new links. :) If you're thinking on joining and would like to pick one of these up? E-mail the mods so they can establish contact, or comment!
