Who: Yeah of course I'm going to say
Where: Zania's door
When: Pre-dawn
They walked up, noting the blood on the door. That hadn't been them, but if someone else wanted to play games as well, that was peachy. Made it better, more interesting. They'd like to know who was doing it though. But, wishes wouldn't get them anywhere, so they pinned the note to the door and walked off, wondering if the someone else would be back again today.

Five Minutes Later
They'd been waiting - expecting the person by now. Maybe they'd find out who the note-giver was if they waited. They didn't though - they weren't sure why not, because they'd been watching. And waiting. But there was a distraction and they let concentration slip for just a few minutes. And then the note was there.
It didn't matter though. That was just idle curiosity - the real point was the gift they had for her. A pretty little gift, all wrapped up with red ribbon and lying in a box. It had taken time to prepare - catching the rabbit yesterday in the woods. Making sure it wasn't hurt, finding the box and the ribbon. They'd cared for the animal all night, timing it just right, working out when the message would be left. They knew from experience how long the work would take and so they left it to the last minute before starting - efficiently skinning the live creature, leaving the bloody pelt to line the bottom of the small box, placing the still living bunny on top of it, before putting the lid on the box, wrapping it with blood-stained ribbon and carrying the gift to leave outside Zania's door.
This time the person knocked - loud enough to wake the occupant, before running off. It'd be a shame if she didn't get to her present in time, after all.
