Do you see what I see?

Who: Zania
Where: Her Room
When: Late Morning

It felt so wrong to laugh. In fact, it felt wrong to watch, but there was nothing she could do about it after the fact but sit and giggle. Zania had been glued to her computer monitor since she'd woken up, and had flipped over to Gavin just in time to see him get himself electrocuted. And then she hadn't been able to turn away. Not while he cleaned up the mess. Not while he called Lina. Not while he curled himself up with a cigarette and pouted over the dent in his pride. When Lina arrived, she sat back to watch the show.

"If it makes you feel any better," Lina called out, "Your dick isn't going to fall off."

"It'd be nice if it would," Zania snarked back to the screen. She'd been bitter about the collapse of her relationship with Gavin, even more so after seeing him with Janie the night prior. Seeing them together made her realize they'd had nothing, probably never had, and that it was just plain ridiculous to continue pining over him. Emotions couldn't be helped though, and Gavin had ended up the primary focus of her camera time. Not to say there weren't other interesting people to watch, but she'd only had it for a couple of days so far.

"Anyone pissed off with you right now?" Lina asked.
"Hannah," Gavin said immediately. " ... Zania, maybe."

Zania gasped softly at the implication, having not realized just how vindictive Gavin thought she could be. Well, if that was the case, she might as well be! It was true, she was upset with him, hadn't seen him in days and didn't expect to any time soon, but she hadn't thought she'd be named in doing something quite like that. At least Lina didn't seem to think it was her, though she did bring up the notes. Zania frowned, but Gavin made no indication that he knew anything about them.

She watched for a few more minutes, up to the point where Lina left, then moved to flip off her monitor. Instead, though, she decided to flip through the channels. The house seemed pretty quiet, other than the drama in Gavin's room, and there was nothing outside...

Zania froze as the current camera focused on the lake. "Shit," she muttered. Was that a body? Matt had mentioned seeing something, but this was her first time to stumble across it herself. Zania pulled herself closer to the monitor, her eyes wide as she tried to make out the details, to confirm what she was seeing. It was a body, the size and proportions looking more like a female, though Zania couldn't make out any exact features. The longer she watched though, the more it seemed to fade away. Then it was gone.

Blinking, Zania turned off her monitor and grabbed her shoes. Rain or no rain, she needed to see this for herself. Slamming the door behind her, she took off down towards the lake.
