Gift
Submitted by gahr on Sun, 02/03/2008 - 11:30.Got a package in front of my room, at the Arcadia. It's not an error, there's my full name on it. Thanks God, no bomb inside. Could it be the girl I met? Still have to go at her place, her mother called.
Anyway, I got a new cap. Seems to look good on me. Good time of the year for it.

... oh dear I got a gift and it's the very first in... years? Decades? I have to find who gave it to meeeee. Oh dear oh dear oh dear
Settled - Sort Of
Submitted by uneven_trade on Sat, 02/02/2008 - 01:48.When I think I've got things settled, something else happens that sort of throws it all into upheaval. I actually have an apartment. It's not a long term lease, thankfully, but it's nice to have a roof over my head and some place that doesn't make me feel so alone - even if it is damn near empty. And I am starting to think that Herbert may just be the perfect roommate. He sleeps like a freaking bear - except that night I wasn't home and he came looking for me - so when I come home late, I don't worry about waking him up because I don't think even the fire alarm could do that.

Last night was not nearly as good a night as the past couple.
(My bad night. Let me show you it.)
Yes, I like cat macros. So sue me.
Anyway, it started off when I went hunting and attacked a demon. That's right, a demon. I might not have believed him when he said that, except he tasted so bad I don't know what else he could possibly be. Maybe-demon-cats are one thing, but demon-people are quite another. And disgusting. I don't know if I'm going to get the taste out of my mouth for days.
So here was my day
Submitted by once_burned on Wed, 01/30/2008 - 04:53.Okay, so, weird of me to write two days in a row. Check. But it's late now and Thom's gone and I got called out to California a little while ago for another car accident. One woman, middle aged. I think she probably had a daughter named Sandra, because that's what she kept calling me. Luckily it was swift. I always appreciate the swift ones, for both of our sakes. ... mostly their's.
TIME UPDATE
Submitted by praelitismods on Mon, 01/28/2008 - 00:22.Weather: There’s a soft, cool breeze taking some of the heat out of the day, but it remains hot and once the sun goes down it’s a lovely warm evening.
Events: The Seafood Fest continues with live bands playing in Lower Harbour Park from late afternoon and after the sun goes down. The local restaurants are still serving good, cheap food and in the early afternoon, there’s a fancy dress competition for the kids with prizes being given out for the best costume.
And of course, the dreams continue for the psychics.
Back to Normal (aka Boring)

I'm home! A couple months away from Marquette was awesome, and mom pretty much let me do anything I wanted this summer. Well, almost anything. I couldn't get a tattoo, but I really didn't want one, I just wanted to see if she'd let me get one. In any case, with school starting, I'm home now and apparently I didn't miss much (big surprise). Except for a bunch of diseased cats roaming around and dying all over town, which I'm not sad I missed by any means. Because gross.
