Bestiary

I arrived as planned! But I also discovered huge creatures. They look awfully like eels but they are bright green and have larger frills. Holy crap, they speak English. Also, they seem to eat each other and nothing else.
The creatures call themselves "demons". The individual I met was about 10 meters long. His name is David. He's okay. He seems to know my people. If he doesn't get eaten in an early future (I can't believe there are other demons larger than him), it's very likely I see him again.

I forgot to write earlier. Oops? I didn't really have much to say, I guess, and I was tired. It's probably amazing I've kept myself so regular the past week, or however long it's been.
TIME UPDATE

Weather: Nice hot day, though not unbearably so. There's a breeze coming in off the lake which cools everything down, and by evening it's very pleasant outside.
Events: It's the first day of school! Welcome back, Marquette Senior High Schoolers!
As for the psychics, the dreams continue, of course. The dream is largely the same, with only a stronger seeming pull towards the mouth of the shaft.
