Who: Aiden and Eury
When:
Where:
It'd been more than a couple days since Aiden had seen Eury. Between dealing with hunting offers and Shannon, Aiden's moods hadn't exactly been the kind he wanted to bring around Eury, especially when he was trying really hard not to be an asshole the majority of the time they spent together. Still, he had missed her and after a fairly chaotic day, he finally got into his car and drove over to her shop before sunset. He knew she had been busy as well, but still allowed himself the hope that she hadn't had many visitors regardless - namely VNS... Ash. Ass. Whatever the hell his name was. Aiden just wanted to see her. And kiss her a couple of times. More than that, he wanted to make sure she was safe and protected. Even though he hunted for money, that didn't make him any less a hunter. He could read the paper and recognize when there were possible supernatural shit headed their way. And with all the shit going down around town with the missing people, that girl who got shot... he was more than aware of what he had in town to protect. And Eury was one of them.
Aiden got out of his car, took one last long drag from his cigarette and tossed it away before he headed across the street to her shop. There was something in the air. Something that didn't sit well inside of him. It was why he had two guns on him tonight rather than one. And why he was going to try and convince Eury to stay with him for awhile instead of being alone. He knew damn well she didn't lock her doors that often. That had to change as well. Just in case. He walked into the store, searching for her eagerly. It had been too damn long since he had actually seen her. "Eury?"
Eury had in fact, been stupidly busy. She'd gotten in a few shipments of things she'd been waiting on for quite a while, and she'd had far too many buyers right off the bat. Which meant she'd made a good chunk of change, the best money she'd made since arriving in town, actually, but it also meant she'd had zero time to herself or to sit and oh...think. She had actually seen Ash a time or two, but it had been shorter than she would have liked, and with Aiden, she'd barely seen him at all. She was closing up, counting the till when she heard Aiden, and she dropped the cash, and moved to head out into the front. She couldn't help it, she smiled when she saw him. It was bright, immediate, and genuine. "You're here--has hell frozen over?" she asked.
"Feels like it sometimes," he replied, because that was the damn truth. He was still in town, renting a house, and hung up on the same girl for more than a week. Yeah. Hell froze over a long time ago. He leaned against the counter and smiled at her. He was relieved to see she was okay, but he couldn't shake the worried feeling he still had. "Things have been... I wouldn't even know where to start. I missed you though." Aiden didn't mind admitting that. He had admitted more things to Eury than he had to anyone in a very long time. "And I wanted to come by and make sure you were okay." Pushing away from the counter, he wandered a bit, eyes sweeping along her shop. "New inventory?" He had spotted a few things that hadn't been there the last time he had been inside.
That admission that he missed her gave her little warm fuzzies. It was stupid of her, she knew, but it did anyways. It also had her walking around the counter and coming up behind him, arms sliding around his middle as she pressed her cheek against his back. "Yeah, I got a lot of new things in this past week...been appraising, and all sorts of things. Lots of buyers, though." she informed him.
"I'm glad. I still want your Morning Star," he informed her with a tiny grin even if she couldn't see it. Reaching down to slide one hand over hers as she hugged him from behind, he relaxed, enjoying the feel of her pressed up against him. Again the thought that it had been far too long since he had seen or touched her entered his mind. "I'd be willing to make you an offer you can't refuse... or however that saying goes."
"Yes, I know you want it. But it's my baby. I love that thing. She's mine, you'd have to give me an insanely good offer, Mr. Quinlan." she said, drawing it out. She also had to try and bite back a laugh. Eury smiled a little, hand that he didn't have his over hooking into his belt loop for a moment. She gave him a squeeze, and paused. Then she unhooked her hand, sliding it along the waistband of his jeans to the back where she felt exactly what she'd thought she'd felt. "...you're armed." she said.
He was about to assure her that he had several insanely good offers, but then she found his gun and it sort of put a damper on the moment. "I'm always armed," Aiden said calmly, turning to face her. He reached out to brush his fingers over her cheek, because he was still thinking he hadn't touched her enough. "And I think these days in this town, it's probably the wisest thing to do." He paused, studying her face for a brief moment. "Do you own a gun, Eury?"
She looked up, then shook her head immediately, looking a little worried. "No, I don't, and I don't plan to." she said. "What's going on? I know you're...technically always armed, but this is a little extreme isn't it? Are you worried about the news?" she asked. She bit her lower lip. The truth was, she was worried about the news herself. She was trying to tell herself nothing was going to happen, but she'd seen it a few times. That happened when you were as old as she was. Still, she was really, really hoping that the badness would give Marquette a break.
"I've been around enough to know what it means," he told her, not wanting to bullshit with her the way he might with his sister. "You put the pieces together, look at a map? Whatever's leaving a bunch of bloody corpses in it's wake is headed for Marquette. So yeah, I'm a bit worried." Aiden reached behind him and pulled out his gun easily. "I know you don't like them. And I know you don't want one. But I want you to keep one in your apartment. At least for awhile, love." He wasn't going to leave room for arguement with her, though he knew there would probably be one. Aiden's gaze shifted to hers, though he could only see his reflection in her shades. "I don't like the feeling I've got in my stomach. And I'm worried about you, living alone."
"I've lived alone my whole life." Eury said with a sigh, not taking that thing. "I'm still here. And anyways, even if you do give me that, or leave it here, it's just like handing a weapon to someone else. It's not like I'm any good at firing it, I'd probably just shoot myself, or some priceless antique, or..." she bit her lower lip and looked up at him, this being one of those times where she wished she could meet his gaze. "It would just be giving someone else a weapon."
Aiden gave her a look of frustration, trying to rein it in and be patient. Patience was never his strongest suit. "I can teach you how to use it. You won't shoot yourself and if you happen to shoot some of your inventory, I'll cover the costs. Honestly, I'm hoping you won't have to use it at all. It would just make me feel better to know you have it." Aiden reached up to run a hand through his hair as he took a breath. "Something bad is coming. And I'm going to worry about you being alone. With that flimsy door, and those flimsy locks. I don't think I could take it if something happened to you."
She sighed at that, looking back at him and she considered. "I don't think you could teach me to shoot well enough in time, if something is coming." she said, voice soft, as soothing as she could get it at current. "And anyways, Aiden, if anything happens, all I really have to do is remove my sunglasses." Which wasn't necessarily the truth. Because things coming in and ripping her up? Yeah that'd work real fast and if nothing made eye contact, she was fucked. But it was still a natural reaction for people, and...yeah. She kept all of that to herself though, because she wanted Aiden to feel more at ease.
"Bullshit," he replied in a clipped tone, reaching over to set his gun down on her counter top. He wasn't feeling more at ease. He was getting more agitated. "There're things out there that could rip your throat out before you even knew they were there, Eury. You need eye contact to turn people to stone, and if something attacks you from behind, or focuses on any part of you other than your face? You're dead. I'm not going to let that happen. I'm not even going to let it be a possibility." He left the gun where it was and faced her properly. "All it takes is one swift kick to get into your place. That worries me. I want you to be safe." Stubborn woman. He stepped into her, cupping her face and tilting it up toward his. "Stay with me tonight. Or let me stay with you. I don't care which."
She looked up at him. "Aiden, if any of those scenarios you just mentioned happened, having a gun wouldn't save me either. I'd just be worm food." she said, voice soft. She thought about him staying with her, and wondered if she shouldn't let him, just to make him feel better. Eury did kinda hate the look in his eyes there, he was really worried. She pushed herself up on her toes to brush a very light, very soft kiss over his lips. "If it makes you feel better, you can stay."
She had a point. Which didn't make him feel any better either. Just the idea of her getting hurt, or the possibility of it, had all of his defenses up. At least if he was with her tonight, he'd be armed. And he knew how to use a gun if it came to that. He was hoping it wouldn't. Not tonight, or any night in the near future. "I'll stay," he said, wrapping his arms tightly around her. Shannon, he knew, was safely locked away at the hotel. Still, he'd call her soon to check in on her. "I've missed you." He brushed another kiss against her lips. "The last few days have been surreal. Like I'm living in some other world. I'm sorry I haven't been by."
Eury put her arms up around his neck, and gave him a warm hug. "I've missed you too." she said, smiling. It was a little sad, considering the subject matter at hand, but it was still nice to hear. And he'd even repeated it, he'd said it before. So, he must have really missed her. "And it's okay, I know you've had a lot to do. C'mon. Let's go upstairs. You can tell me all about your last few days in the Twilight Zone."
He hugged her back, breathing in her scent as he did so. She smelled good. Felt good. That was all he wanted surrounding him at the moment. Maybe it would ease some of the tension inside of him. And then he released her to grab his gun and slip it back into place. Going upstairs sounded good to him. "Believe me, what I consider the Twilight Zone, you may consider nothing but bouts of normalcy." He reached out to take her hand and walk with her. "I'm constantly torn between taking off and being convinced that I'm in some kind of surreal dream."
"I know, but I want to hear about it anyways." Eury said. "I'm sure it was stressful." she added, smiling at him a little tiny touch of impishly. Just a eensy bit. She held his hand, and flicked the lock on the shop as they went into the entryway and she killed the lights. Then she started leading him up the stairwell. "So, tell me about the surreal dream. What's happening in it?" she asked. Maybe it would be easier for him to talk about if he were rehashing it like it had been a dream.
Aiden shrugged and followed her, knowing deep down he wanted to talk about it, but at the same time, there was that part of him that struggled against opening up with his problems to anyone else. He'd been open with Eury before. As well as he could be anyway. "What's happening in it...? Things designed to test my patience I guess. For starters, my sister wants to stay permanently, which I think I told you the last time we talked. With Marquette becoming what it's becoming, I'm reluctant, but I have a hard time saying no. It also means I have one more thing to worry about when I'm out of town doing what I do." He paused briefly. "I'm wandering around different houses to rent and I'm thinking about how wrong it feels. To settle in one spot. Even if it's mostly for her, it means I'm putting down roots too, somehow. My life feels like it's changing and I'm not entirely agreeable to it."
Eury could understand that. "Well, renting is renting, which means you're only staying for a set amount of time." she said to him, to ease that sting a little bit. She opened up the door at the top of the stairs--which as usual was unlocked--and led him inside. She kicked her shoes off just inside the door, and tugged him in after her. After shutting the door behind him she reached up to start pushing the jacket off of his shoulders. "So don't think of it as a permanent thing. And she could always change her mind. Girls do that. We're known for it, even. Happens all the time." she added soothingly. When his jacket hit the floor, she picked it up and put it on the back of one of the kitchen chairs before she knelt down to untie his shoes. "You don't have to do anything you don't want to." she added, because it was always important to remind people of that, though it was weird for her, thinking she was reminding Aiden of it. Aiden, who made a career out of doing whatever the fuck he fancied at any given moment.
"That sort of changes when you have other people to consider," he stated dryly, watching her untie his shoes with a bit of amusement. Still, she was right. Renting was temporary. Maybe Shannon would want to leave someday. He didn't know. All he knew was even if she did, no matter where she wanted to go, he'd worry. "When you've got a woman you care about wanting something, they have a lot more power over you than what's probably fair." He toed off his shoes once she had them untied and reached down to haul her up by her arms before moving his hands down to slip up under her shirt and skim his fingers along the skin of her back. "So not only am I agreeing to rent this house in Marquette, but I'm dealing with this woman who's set up a permanent residence of her own in my head. She's constantly there, doing things in my mind, making it hard for me to sleep, or to think about other things. Which can prove to be dangerous in my line of work. Can't quite decide what to do about her either."
"Hmm." Eury said, making a thinkyface as she put her arms up around his neck. She played with the hair at the back of his head, reaching up to take his hat off and set it aside before she tugged her fingers through all of it, getting it away from his face. "Sounds like a rough spot to be in." she said, nodding sympathetically. "So she's there all the time, you say? Have you tried mediation to clear her out? A broom, perhaps?"
Aiden nodded solemnly. "You name it, I've tried it. I don't think there's much else I haven't tried. But she's persistent." Aiden quite liked the feel of her fingers in his hair. It had a soothing effect on him, which was exactly what he needed at the moment. He bent down to brush his lips against hers. "Which, by the way, is both endearing and goddamn frustrating at the same time. I never know which direction she's going to end up pulling me in. So to say I'm not exactly in charge of my life at the moment feels like an understatement."
"You poor man." she murmured back to him, kissing him back when he kissed her, and she started walking backwards, taking him with her as she did so. She had a Plan. "She sounds like she's causing you so much trouble. Never knowing where you're going, not being able to cut her out of your head...very rough." she continued in that same sympathetic tone. She kept walking him through the apartment, leading him into the short hall to her bedroom, though she didn't bring him in there. She instead veered him towards the bathroom. "Not in charge of your life, at sea with rushing waves of influences from other people and a persistent woman. Whatever will you do?" she asked, giving him another little light, teasing brush of a kiss.
"There's a lot of things I could do," Aiden replied. "I don't think any of them would work very well for me in the long run. Guess I'll have to suffer through... or something." He heaved a sigh, a slightly exaggerated one, and lifted his head to gaze around her bathroom. His eyes were both amused and questioning as he looked back at her, his hands sliding down to her hips. "Still, it's always nice to have a beautiful woman sympathize with my plight. Makes me feel as though I can get through the day."
"Well, that's what I'm here for. Sympathy and all." Eury said. "I provide relaxation techniques." She stepped away from him to sit on the ledge of the claw foot bathtub, and she started to fill it, dropping some aromatherapy stuff into the water to make it smell good, though not necessarily girly. "So, any plans on what you're going to do with the woman?" she asked lightly. "Or are you just playing it all by ear, and seeing what happens?" she asked.
He watched her with some wariness, crossing his arms against his chest. He was hoping she was going to take a bath, because that meant she would be getting naked. And he hadn't seen that in awhile. "I don't know. I'm usually a play it by ear kind of guy. See what happens. Let it be whatever it is, or might become. Another part of me feels like I ought to snatch her up for myself before someone else does because I know it would be stupid to let her get away. So there's another one of my many dilemmas. You can see where it's been a tough couple of days. Mentally."
"I can." she said, nodding of course as she did so, looking up at him. Then she stood up again, and started to tug his shirt up, to indicate he should really be removing it around now. "What about more immediate plans?" she asked. "Anything on the short term agenda? Since she's so on your mind and all, I'm sure there's something going on in there. Beyond all the hard life-stuff and everything."
He tugged off his shirt without complaint, eyes focused on her face after he did so. He reached out to tug at the hem of her own shirt in silent response that she ought to do the same thing. It was only fair after all. "I was thinking that maybe I would spend some time with her. Maybe I would spend the next couple of nights making love to her until she couldn't move. And then maybe telling her that I wanted her only for myself..." Aiden trailed off with a wry smile as he dropped his shirt to the ground. "Though that sounds more long term agenda, doesn't it?"
That admission really kind of did, because um. Wow holy fucking hell. First of all, he'd used the words 'making love'. Which she was pretty positive they had argued vehemently about in the past, because damn. And was he saying he actually for really wanted a relationship? She pulled her shirt off over the top of her head and let it drop to the floor. Then she started to unbuckle his belt, and unfasten his jeans. "Sounds slightly more long term, yes." she said, after she made herself speak. Her voice was softer than it had been a moment ago, the impact of his words kind of taking that 'we're not talking about us' aspect away, because...damn.
He got to undressing her himself, not minding if his arms were getting in her way. He was having a hard enough time not grabbing her and finding a nice solid wall to press her up against. She just wasn't getting naked quick enough. "Of course, I guess a lot of what I want depends on what she wants. I'm not foolish enough to believe I'm good enough for her. She knows I'm a bastard and I'm not some knight in shining armor that women like her deserve. But maybe if I try to convince her I'd be good for her... you think she'll give me a chance?" Aiden's voice was soft, his eyes focused firmly on her face now as he began to slide her pants down past her hips.
She didn't stop him of course, doing the same with him, undressing him, getting him some naked. She rid herself of the rest of her clothes, before standing there and looking up at him. "I think she might." she said, smiling at him just a little, before she pushed up on her toes again to kiss him more. She kept it light, teasing, then started to tug him back towards the tub, which was still running but was getting on towards full around now.
"She might is much better than she won't." He nearly reached for her to haul her to her bedroom, or maybe the floor, it didn't matter, but then she was pulling him toward the tub, so he followed reluctantly, unable to keep his gaze from drifting over her nude body. Yeah, definitely too long since he'd seen it. And touched it. But there would be time for that, he assumed, so he reached over to turn off the water and got into the water. He rarely took baths. Actually, he couldn't really remember the last time he had ever had one. But the hot water felt good on his muscles, and having Eury with him certainly made it worthwhile. He settled back and tugged at her hand for her to join him. It would be a tight fit, but that was fine with him.
Eury pulled the shower curtain around the tub, which meant the light was dimmed, and they were in their own very small, warm dark wet world. She climbed in with him carefully, settling in to lay comfortably with him, head resting on his shoulder. "Close your eyes and relax for a little while." she said, voice soft. Didn't have to be loud in such close quarters. "I think you don't take enough time to actually do that now and then. It's surprising what a little relaxation can do."
"That's not true. I relax all the time." Aiden wrapped his arms around her, placing a kiss against her temple. "Although my source of relaxation usually comes in a pint," he said, but did as she asked anyway. He liked being there. He felt far away from the outside world, away from obligations and whatever it was that might be coming. He trailed his fingers lightly against her stomach, content with the silence. No arguing, no yelling. It was a nice change.
Eury started to trail little soft, slow kisses down the underside of his jaw. "Mm. You're usually stressing when you're drinking." she mused. "When was the last time you really relaxed?" she asked. "Back around when I gave you that back rub?" she asked, reaching up to tip his face away a tiny bit, so she could add more little kisses. "If I take my glasses off, will you promise to keep your eyes shut?" she asked. For some reason, she wanted to right then. Be rid of her last remaining bit of non-nudity. But she didn't want to if it was going to make him tense up, something she was very keenly waiting for.
"And the drinking helps me de-stress," he pointed out. "Although your back rub certainly was more effective than any kind of alcohol." Or rather, what happened after the back rub. His eyes began to drift shut as her lips pressed against his skin. His hands moved slowly over her body, enjoying the feel of her skin, wet now from the water. He opened his eyes to focus on her face, hesitating at her request. And yes, he did tense, but only slightly. Usually when she took off her glasses, it was her keeping her eyes shut, which he was much more comfortable with. So Aiden nearly protested, unsure if he wanted to be vulnerable in that sense. Hell, he had a hard time being vulnerable in any sense. But he took a moment, taking in the beauty of her face, and then nodded. He closed his eyes before releasing a breath. "I promise."
She had been waiting for it, so when it happened, she gave a little half smile, and another kiss, though she didn't take them off. "I don't have to. It's okay." she said. She'd just wanted to look at him for a while without the sunglasses tint in the way. But that required that she know he wasn't going to open up his eyes to look at her when it was happening...or they were going to be in trouble. Trouble she didn't in any way shape or form want.
Aiden said nothing for a moment before his lips turned into a small grin. He almost opened his eyes just to find her lips and kiss her again. But he kept his eyes closed. "Eury, love, you've got me naked in your bathtub with my eyes closed, completely at your mercy. Who the hell knows when that's going to happen again. I'd take advantage of it, if I were you."
That got a little laugh out of her. "Alright, but remember, you asked for it." she warned him. Then she shifted, taking off her sunglasses and she hooked them on the wash cloth hook above them on the wall. Then she looked down at him, getting to see him without anything between them for a while. When she moved, it was to change positions, sliding her legs around his waist to straddle him. She continued gazing down at is form, hands starting to roam over his body, finding scars and tracing them. "I know you don't need to be told this." she said, voice still soft. Light. "But there's something beautiful about you."
"Yeah?" For the first time in maybe...all his life, Aiden felt himself flush a bit. He was focusing on the feel of her hands and fingertips moving over him, but her words made him a tiny bit uncomfortable. Not in a terribly bad way, just in a way that made him want to squirm. It was the whole 'vulnerability' thing he was feeling, and he was not a fan of it whatsoever. But he forced himself to relax and keep his eyes closed. She felt good against him, in that particular position and he wasn't about to try and hide how much he was liking it. "What is it? My asshole attitude? My chain smoking? Scars?" His tone was dry, but his hands moved to her hips, digging his fingers gently into her flesh. "Not really textbook definition of beautiful, love."
"I like the scars." Eury said, voice still light, and not really rising to his tone. "But that's not it. And I would think by now, you would have accepted the fact that I don't have the textbook definition of anything. I'm not exactly a woman who sees things the way other people do." She kept up what she was doing, that light tracing around, touching him. "No it's more in who you are as a person as a whole. There's a lot of damage there. But that doesn't really detract. It just makes you you."
Aiden nearly opened his eyes but instead squeezed his eyes shut a bit more tightly. "Everyone's got a bit of damage in them. Everyone's got scars, even if they're not visible. I guess some are just more defined than others." His hands moved up the small of her back. "And I know you're not a woman who sees things the way other people do. It's why, for some reasons I can't always fathom, you keep letting me in when I knock on your door, no matter what I've said or done before. And it's why I can't use meditation or even a broom to get you out of my head." It was frustrating, but he didn't say so. He figured she probably already knew.
She did. "You've tried everything?" she asked, leaning closer to him, hands resting on the ledge of the tub as she did so. She got in close, her arms keeping her hair from falling onto him. Instead, she breathed along the underside of his jaw. "Even meditation." she added. Which said something, she supposed. If that were true, anyhow.
"I think I've tried just about everything," Aiden told her with a nod, feeling her closer to him. His hands ran down around the small of her back to her hips again to grip her there. Before he could help it, Aiden shivered a bit at the feel of her breath on his skin. He turned his face toward her voice, wanting to kiss her, but unable to open his eyes and find his proper target. "Got any tips?" he asked hoarsely.
"Not sure." Eury said thoughtfully as she mused. "Depends how badly you want her out of there. But she's always there, you say? Even when you're hunting?" she asked. She brushed her lips over his throat, a soft, barely there sort of kiss. Something that was going to quite clearly be a tease. She wanted to see what kind of reactions she could get out of him, what she could do to him while she had him there, vulnerable. "What do you think about?" she asked, when she was close by his ear, breath ghosting across it, and she let her lips brush against the lobe while she spoke.
Aiden shifted underneath her, despite the tight confines of the tub. He kept his hands tightly on her in case she would try to move away. Not that she would, but one never knew and he wasn't going to take that chance. "Yeah," he said with a tiny chuckle. "Even at the most inopportune times." He turned his head just so that he could press his nose against the side of her face as she kissed his earlobe. He breathed her in and tried to keep from shifting her properly onto his lap. "It's always a jumble of thoughts. I think about what she feels like, how she tastes. Her scent. The way it feels when I'm inside of her. How it feels when she pisses me off." His lips quirked into a smile. "How even then she turns me on."
"Hmm...turned on even when angry? That's definitely something. You sound, pardon my french, sweetheart, but fucked." she whispered, punctuating the word of course, just to see if it would get a reaction out of him. She was hoping it would. She wanted it to. She kissed just below his ear, then turned her face more towards his. She wondered what it might get him to push it and kiss her.
The sound of her voice shot directly to his groin and he pulled her more tightly against his body. She had no idea how aware of that he was. It was fucked. But it was what it was. He couldn't try to change it at this point in his life even if he wanted to. "I don't necessarily find that to be a bad thing. In fact, I'm a pretty big fan of being fucked." It was crude, yes. But he was done with the teasing. He turned slightly, could feel her breath against his face and moved forward to find her lips and claim them with his own. In Aiden's opinion, no more talking was necessary either. Kissing was all he wanted to do. Well, not all, but it was definitely a start.
Eury was fine with kissing. She really, really was. The kissing? Was something she generally missed when he wasn't around. So, she was more than happy to kiss him back, fingers sliding into his hair and drawing into fists. She wanted to draw it out, and she did, not kissing him quite as hard as she wanted to, but putting a hell of a lot of feeling into it.
Groaning against her mouth, Aiden's fingers dug into her hips. He kissed her back, trying to keep some semblance of control and not open his eyes. She was naked, wet from the water and straddling him and he was having a tough time thinking of anything but that. He wanted her, that much was obvious to the both of them. Aiden released her hips finally, sliding his damp hands up her sides to her breasts. He wanted to look at her and it was becoming increasingly difficult not to. Tearing his mouth from hers, he began to brush kisses along her jaw and down to her neck. "You drive me mad," Aiden murmured.
Eury smiled, that really true, she thought. In all sorts of ways, both positive and negative. But he was still there. Why or how that had happened she didn't know, but it had certainly happened. She reached down between them to slide her hand around him, to give him a single stroke as she tilted her head to the side as he kissed it.
The minute she touched him, his entire body tensed. Aiden exhaled slowly against her throat before he nuzzled his nose against her skin and breathed her in. "Let me have you," he murmured, shifting his hips and thrusting up gently into her hand. It might not have been that long since they had been together, but it had felt like an eternity.
Such a different thing, him saying words like that to her as opposed to what he'd said to her in the shop. About how he wanted to be able to have her wherever and whenever he wanted. To ask permission--even if it was slightly convoluted in a way, was odd to hear. Not bad, really, just different. She wondered what kind of evolution he really was going through. She stroked him again, then kissed him, drawing it out. She didn't know quite which direction she wanted to go in. She could always tell him to say please. Draw it out more. Or, she could tell him to take her then, and put things back into his hands. Decisions, decisions.
Aiden parted his lips against hers, deepening their kiss to convey the passion he was feeling for her. It took every ounce of his being not to just grab her against him and push into her. He simply wanted her to want him as badly as he wanted her. He throbbed in her hand, desperate to feel her and be inside of her. She was teasing him. She might not be meaning to, but she was. Aiden groaned against her lips. "Eury," he managed, keeping the pleading tone at bay. He was feeling vulnerable enough as it was given the position. There was only so much he could reveal of himself at once without his defenses rising again. His hand streaked down her stomach, finding its way between her thighs to touch her. It seemed only fair at this point.
She made a soft little sound at that, and a shudder went through her. A violent one that he'd definitely be able to feel, and one she could do nothing about. She murmured his name, and decided to go with that last option. "Take me." she whispered into his ear. Her voice was a little thick with desire, definitely wanting him. There wasn't a question there. She'd missed him.
He quickly turned his head to capture her lips with his own, his hand gripping her hip to hold her still as he guided himself up and into her. It was difficult, keeping his eyes shut, but he didn't think it would be fair to her to ask her to put her glasses back on. "Hold onto me," Aiden breathed, his arms wrapping around her to press her tightly against his body as he began to move slowly. He wanted to draw this out as long as he could. He had missed her, being with her like this. And this time, it felt right, like he had no one to answer to, no guilt.
Eury did as asked, and she put her arms around his neck. She'd also gasped in a sharp breath when he'd entered her, and she relaxed against him, going to let him guide the whole thing. She wanted him to, wanted him to be the one deciding how it was going to feel, how it was going to go. However he wanted it to, that was the answer there.
His face was buried in her neck, so he cracked his eyes open a little bit to take in the sight of her skin and hair. He wasn't in any hurry tonight, and would have gladly just sat there, joined with her, for the remainder of the evening. But his body had other plans and his hands slid around to her hips to start to guide her against him. He rocked with her in a lazy rhythm, a soft groan escaping his lips against her throat. "I've missed how you felt," he whispered in her ear before pressing a kiss against her earlobe.
This was reminding her yet again of how things were in her bedroom, when things had changed, and he hadn't wanted to admit that they had. Where things had gone from a game to something entirely else, without warning. "I've missed you too." she said in return, the statement genuine, and that much was very clear.
It was what he had wanted to hear and when she said the words, he relaxed considerably. He wanted to enjoy this, the sensations, the way she moved. Everything. Aiden sighed against her, placing tiny kisses along her collarbone now. He surged up and into her again, water sloshing around them on the sides of the time. "I've never had sex in a tub before," he admitted with a tiny chuckle that very quickly turned into a moan. "It's a brand new experience for me."
She smiled at that, really not caring if the floor got soaked if they splashed too much. "Happy to introduce you to new things then." Eury said, putting more into it herself, rolling her hips against his, back arching a little, and she pushed herself up, hands propped on his chest to get more behind it too.
Aiden leaned back, his hands moving over her breasts and down her stomach back to her hips. There was a steady mantra going on in his head to keep his eyes closed. So he relied on touching her rather than seeing her. There was a low groan in his throat when she rocked over him and he moved with her, one hand sliding between her legs again to touch her again.
Eury let out a sharper little cry that seemed slightly echoey in the closed space. It had her drawing in a sharp breath, and she kept moving, not wanting to lose the rhythm at all, of course, but it was harder to do when he touched her like that. His name fell from her lips in a shuddery breath.
The sound of his name on her lips sent a multitude of emotions through him, many of which he ignored to focus on bringing her pleasure. His thumb pressed against her, massaging firmly as his hips thrust up against her. Surging forward, Aiden moved his mouth down her chest to her breast to close his mouth over her nipple, pulling it between his teeth gently. She felt so damn good, he had to hold himself back, wanting to make her crash and shatter first.
With the touches he was giving her along with everything else, that wasn't going to be a terribly difficult task for him. She groaned, and then moved faster, pushing harder and letting herself go, basically. Feeling it all. She groaned, feeling herself flutter right before she crashed.
Aiden watched her face, waiting until he felt the intense pulses of her body before he closed his eyes and pumped his hips against her. He could hear water sloshing around them but he didn't care a bit, only focused on what was happening between he and Eury. He gripped her suddenly and very tightly against him, his body tensing as he let go, days of tension and frustration released at that one moment. Groaning, he rested his forehead against her shoulder, fingers pressed deeply into her hips.
Eury smiled, relaxing back down against him. Pleased, sated, feeling kind of warm, fuzzy and nice all over, really. Or, until she realized the had his eyes open, then she immediately snapped hers shut and reached for her sunglasses. God--that would have been bad. God god god. She was going to say something, but then there was...what, a loud---something. And the building even shook some. She heard things knock over in the other room, And the water sloshed. "What was that?" she asked in a bare light whisper.
Aiden stiffened, lifting his head and placing a finger against her lips to listen. It had sounded like an explosion of some kind. Aiden wrapped his arms around Eury and stood in the bathtub, lifting her as if she weighed nothing. He stepped out of the tub to the ground and placed her on the floor. "Get dressed," he ordered, reaching out to snatch a towel and hand it to her. He pulled on his jeans and dug through his jacket for his gun before he left the bathroom quickly, cautiously. What the fuck was that? He went to her window and glanced out, eyes sweeping along the street, and then the horizon. The sky was bright near where they were. Fire. "Something's burning," he said tensely. He didn't feel right, in his gut. "Something's happening."
