Good afternoon, Sammy. I thought I'd drop a note by to see how you and your brother are doing. Is Geo's eye doing better? Will it heal, or do you know?
Also, I thought you might like to know, but I'm absolutely sure the Acherus are gone. The news is right. I've been looking these past few nights, and I haven't seen a single one.

I'm good, and Geo's...doing good, but not good? He's acting fine, but...they couldn't do anything for his eye. :( They couldn't fix it, so he won't be...he can't see from it again. Which is, yanno, distressing to say the least. Eyes are important! People need them! Yeah.
But, anyhow, that? Is good news. Much better than the bad news that's been around so much. So they just all, like, ran out of town, then? Did we all put up too much of a fight so they decided that enough was enough and skipped out? Seems anticlimatic, but I'm not gonna complain, right? I'm glad they're gone. Who knows how much more damage they could have done if they'd stayed. Thank you for telling me that they're not here anymore - though I kind of guessed they were gone, since there weren't anymore fires and stuff, yanno?

I'm sorry to hear about your brother's eye. I do know people and animals adapt, and get along without things they once had (that dog I told you about, Kirk? he only has three legs, and he's just as Kirk-like even then), but it will take him time to learn and get used to the difference. I promise he will get used to it, though.
As for the Acherus, I don't really know why they left. Sometimes, yes, they take too big of a hit to their numbers, a hit they can't make up easily, and decide to move on to greener pastures. Maybe they were starting to get less victims to feed on, as more people were staying inside and so many people left. Acherus aren't meant to stay in one place long, maybe they simply got tired of it here. I'm just glad they're gone.
This might sound strange, but do you want to have a conversation in person? I know you don't talk, really, but I feel like I need to see people's faces more often, these days.... I could bring my laptop, so you wouldn't have to waste paper.

Yeah, I figure he'll get used to it...doesn't mean it doesn't suck, though, right now, right? 'cause it kind of sucks right now really. Wish he hadn't had his eye damaged like that. But...no crying over spilt milk, or something like that. Make the best of things and all that!
And sure. What time works for you? If it was somewhere close-ish to my place, too, that'd be good since mom is still wary of us going very far from the house and stuff. It's almost like being under house arrest, but not quite, since we didn't commit a crime or anything like that.

Any time the sun is down is a good time for me, really, unless you could talk your mother into letting you come to my house, though it's pretty far so I doubt it. I can't be out during the day. Obviously :) Tomorrow evening, perhaps?

HA. Okay, I think he needs to get one. I bet I could get my friend Cece to "pimp" one out for him, 'cause his current one is black and boring and lame. It really needs some help.
Tomorrow evening works, really. I don't have anything planned s'far as I know, so...yeah. Like I said. It works. And I think my feelings would be hurt if people didn't want to talk to me face-to-face, so I get how you're feeling.
Anyhow - I know this is cutting it short, but I have to go. Mom's enforcing this 'No staying up late' rule, and it's getting towards internet cut-off time. Just email where we're meeting and I'll get it in the morning. (:

How about Lower Harbor Park? That's just a couple blocks from your place, it's public, and it's not random person's front yard. Not to mention it isn't likely to be closed for repairs. I'll be there at 8:30.
