Lullaby didn't like having to pretend to be Dean. What she wanted to do was text back that it was really her, and she'd missed Charlotte so much and thank god she was okay. And to tell her what was going on if she didn't already know, and she was stupidly relived to hear other people were okay too. But she couldn't. It made her a little teary eyed. Contact with friends but...not really.

Did Dean sign his texts to other people with D? He did with her. She was probably overthinking this. Because while she knew Dean pretty damn well and all...she didn't know how well she could pretend to be him. Which meant she should probably keep things short. She just...really really wanted to hear that people were okay. And she had gotten words back from her that Charlotte had typed up herself, and...yeah.

Charlotte had been surprised to get a message from Dean. She had contacted him and he had been on board with setting up a system and making sure everyone was okay and prepared. So maybe he was just enthusiastic. Maybe Charlotte should have done this herself. She supposed she couldn't really mind any possible option, as long as people were okay.

Isaac pulled his phone out of his pocket as it buzzed and flipped it open. He read the text and considered. Did he know Dean? He kind of thought so, if he was remembering the face right. He wasn't sure how the guy had gotten his number, but Isaac was kind of used to that happening. People all over school seemed to have his number. He typed in a response.

Lullaby smiled faintly when she got the message. Isaac. Isaac who was sweet, and she'd made cookies for, and who hadn't been doing very well when she saw him last. she remembered finding him in the halls to give random hugs to. She missed him. Wished she could just say who it really was and talk to him. Buuuut no. It would probably freak him out all the more, and who needed that added on top of everything else?

She really didn't think she did a very good job of pretending to be Dean. And she kept wanting to put more into it, but well. Her sentiments coming from Dean would probably have Isaac wondering if Dean were both crazy and gay. So....yeah. Not doing that.

Well ... all right then. That was good to know. He knew at least that Joshua had been Lullaby's boyfriend. So it was good to hear the guy was okay at least, nobody needed vampire attacks on top of dead girlfriends. It gave him a pang, to think of her. He'd been doing it a lot lately, especially looking through her books with Kaysen. He missed her, wanted to tell her that he was learning magic like she'd been doing and all that. But some things just ... couldn't ever be done.
